Privacy Policy for Appy: Learning Breaks

Effective date: May 21, 2026

Appy: Learning Breaks is a parent-led learning app that shows short educational cards over selected apps on a child's Android device.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, sell, or share personal information from children.

We do not operate advertising in the app.

We do not ask children to create accounts, enter names, send messages, upload content, or share contact information.

Information Processed on the Device

Appy uses local device settings chosen by a parent or guardian, such as selected learning skills, selected app targets, child level, interval, and Premium unlock state.

Appy may use Android Usage Access to detect which app is currently open. This is used only on the device to decide whether a learning card should appear. This information is not sent to our servers.

Appy uses Display over other apps permission to show learning cards while selected apps are open.

Appy uses a foreground service and notifications so learning breaks can run while enabled.

Purchases

Appy offers an optional Premium unlock through Google Play Billing. Payments are processed by Google Play. Appy receives purchase status from Google Play to unlock Premium features.

Data Sharing

We do not share child personal data with third parties.

Google Play may process purchase and payment information according to Google's own privacy policy when a Premium purchase is made.

Security

Appy stores settings locally on the device. Parents can stop the app, change permissions, or uninstall the app at any time.

Children's Privacy

Appy is designed to be configured by a parent or guardian. Children should use the app under parent or guardian supervision.
